Luma Tales ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

When you create a story, you provide:

• Child's name — used only to personalize the story text.
• Child's age — used to tailor the story's language and length.
• Story topic — used as the theme for the generated story.
• Preferred language — used to generate the story in the correct language.

We do not collect real names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information from children.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is sent to our secure backend to generate a personalized story, illustrations, and narration. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than generating your story.

3. Data Storage

Generated stories are stored locally on your device. We do not permanently store story content or personal inputs on our servers after generation is complete.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to power story generation:

• Supabase — secure backend infrastructure for story generation.
• AI image and text generation APIs — to create illustrations and story text.

These services process story inputs solely to fulfill your request and do not use your data for other purposes.

5. In-App Purchases

Luma Tales offers optional subscriptions via Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is never seen or stored by us.
